Why winning the Grand Prix means a lot.

Paul Finch

It’s been a few weeks now since that unforgettable afternoon at the 2025 Conference News Agency Awards, but the feeling hasn’t quite worn off. Being awarded the Grand Prix was a standout moment for all of us at Stagestruck. Not just because it’s the top honour, but because of what it represents: the standard we hold ourselves to, the creativity we strive for, and the way we work together to make great things happen.

It’s an award that goes beyond any one project. It speaks to consistency, to trust, to the depth of our client relationships, and to the culture that underpins it all. It felt like a genuine milestone in our journey, and a chance to pause and appreciate what’s been built; a phenomenally talented team who care deeply about the work we do and about one another.

It was also wonderful to see Kat Saha-Sen named Event Producer of the Year, a recognition of someone whose talent, tenacity and calm brilliance sets the tone for those around her.

It’s a proud moment, but it’s also fuel for what’s next. A reminder of how far we’ve come, and how much further we still want to go.

And being Highly Commended for Employer of the Year was another proud moment, not least because the culture at Stagestruck is something we’ve worked hard to build and protect.

We’ve got an incredible team of thinkers, makers, planners, and problem-solvers, all united by a shared desire to create experiences that connect with people and leave a lasting impression. They also approach every brief with drive and ambition, along with a genuine commitment to making something meaningful and impactful. You can perceive the artistry in the way they tackle each challenge - thoughtful, original, detailed and always with the audience front of mind.

We’re also lucky to work with great clients who push us in the best possible way. The quality of the briefs they entrust to us is a huge part of what makes the work what it is. It challenges us to think sharper, go deeper, and never stand still.

Right now, our brilliant teams are spread all over the world crafting some amazing projects and making them happen. But what’s especially exciting is the next chapter, something we’ve been quietly working on, and which we’ll be ready to share very soon.

So yes, picking up the Grand Prix really does mean a lot. It’s a proud moment, but it’s also fuel for what’s next. A reminder of how far we’ve come, and how much further we still want to go.
