A BIG birthday… a scavenger hunt… and a digital team that never settles

At Stagestruck, we know how to throw a birthday celebration – and turning 40 was no exception. As well as well as the obligatory party; we went all-in with a high-tech scavenger hunt that had everyone exploring central London, bonding, and making unforgettable memories!

Enter: the BIG 4-0 Scavenger Hunt

But, of course, we’re Stagestruck. We ditched the old-school scavenger hunt for a slick digital experience. No biros, no paper, no boring checklists. Just pure digital goodness to take the fun to another level.

Here’s what made it shine:

• Interactive Map: This wasn’t just wandering around aimlessly. Our app had a live map showing checkpoints, tracking progress, and letting teams see how they stacked up against the competition. The sprinting was real when teams saw their rivals catching up!
• Gamification: With leaderboards, real-time points, and surprise challenges, the hunt turned into a fierce, fun race. Watching the rankings shift every minute was both thrilling and hilarious.
• Real-Time Updates: Live updates kept everyone in the loop. Whether leading or lagging, everyone felt the rush to hit the next checkpoint.
• GPS Tracking: Our GPS feature was a game-changer. Teams could track their location and spy on rivals, adding a strategic edge to the hunt.

The day was great (and the night wasn’t too shabby either!). The app worked like a dream, keeping things smooth, fun, and engaging. But what really stood out (sorry I can’t help myself) was that this wasn’t just about playing games – it was proof that smart use of innovation and technology can massively enhance the experience. And the best part? It was all for our incredible team that makes Stagestruck amazing.

So, what’s next?

Well, we never settle for V1 so we’re already thinking about how this app and underlying tech can be used for future projects. The possibilities are endless, and after seeing how it brought everyone together, we’re excited to see where it goes from here. This scavenger hunt was just the beginning.
