A BIT OF CONTEXT

Stagestruck is an independent events and experiential communications agency. 34 years ago, the company began as an AV supplier, man-handling vast numbers of fragile 35mm slides across banks of projectors to create stunning visual displays. This required vision, dedication and craft skills - three things that have stuck with Stagestruck.

Since then, technology (thankfully) has developed. And so has Stagestruck. With over 70 people working across multiple departments, Stagestruck has a blue chip client-list that includes Bloomberg, Samsung, VW Group, Barclays, JP Morgan, M&S, BP, PwC and more. For these clients we create inspiring conferences, product launches, exhibitions, brand experiences, films, digital experiences, projection mapping and more.

Stagestruck is growing; growing in size, growing in remit and growing in ambition. We’re doing some great work already; but we want to do even greater work. We have a bold vision for our future and - as we have done over the last 34 years - we’re evolving to fulfil our ambitions.

WE NEED A TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER TO...

  • Manage individual projects across a diverse range of business sectors from initial pitch through to on-site delivery and post project review.
  • Work with the project producer and creative teams and to push the boundaries regarding the creative interpretation of a client’ brief with the aim of exceeding their expectations and then assist in producing pitch and proposal documents to win the business.
  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies, new scenic construction techniques and legislation changes.
  • To become a trusted advisor and lead in all matters related to the technical delivery, scenic construction and logistics involved in the project delivery.
  • To ensure high safety standards are maintained for all individuals involved with the project including Stagestruck personnel, clients, venue staff and members of the public.
  • Have fun doing it working with a great team!

WHAT WE CAN OFFER

A healthy, proven, good-sized business, with a blue-chip client list, and a team that will welcome you.

A competitive salary and bonus scheme, with healthcare, holidays, pension and a full employee benefits programme.

PLACE OF WORK

Although this role does require a primary presence in the Stagestruck head office in Hertfordshire, with a secondary office in Central London this role offers some allowance for a flexible working environment.

As a key member of the onsite project delivery team the role will also require periods of time onsite, attending meetings at client offices, completing site visits and possible worldwide travel.

To apply for this position please send your CV and an introduction email stating the role you are interested in to recruitment@stagestruck.com

WE’RE LOOKING FOR A SENIOR 2D DESIGNER TO CREATE AMAZING SPACES

A BIT OF CONTEXT

Stagestruck: why we’re here

Since 1984, Stagestruck have been delivering world-class events, experiences and communications for global blue-chip brands. Over that time, we’ve adapted, grown and evolved to help clients. What’s remained constant is a desire to be the best. We’re ambitious. We’re proud of what we do. We want to help our clients with clever, inspired and insightful thinking. For our work to be effective at a business and brand level, we believe we need great, creative problem solving and impactful ideas: ideas that change the way people feel, think and ultimately, behave.

However, great ideas are pointless if they’re not delivered brilliantly. So, great ideas with great execution is a powerful offer. It means we’re using broader creativity to deliver – not just imagine - effectiveness for our clients, and that’s something worth paying for. When we do this, we supercharge their business. And then they can’t afford not to have us. Importantly, it’s not just what we do; it’s how we do it. Our service is world-class, with foresight, insight, intelligence and an attention to detail that is second to none. What we do is often challenging: but with an infectious enthusiasm for what we do, along with the reassuringly professional approach, our clients will enjoy working with us. And keep coming back to us.

It’s not about being the biggest or short-term payback; the quality of our work and long-term partnership is more important. We’re not an agency and we’re not a production company. We’re more joined-up and solution-focused than either of those. We work together to bring clever, innovative thinking and ideas; brilliant delivery; and enthusiastically professional service, together for our clients. And doing this will help us achieve our vision: to be the world’s most effective creative events and experience company.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR A MID-LEVEL/SENIOR CONCEPTUAL 2D DESIGNER

We’re looking for a senior 2D designer to join our team. We want someone who can work with the Head of Design and the Creative Director to help inspire everyone in the Design Team and to lead the junior 2D designers reporting in to them.

You’ll need to be an advocate for how ideas and environment can change the way people feel, think and behave. You’ll need to work closely with the 3D designers, the Content Team, the Production, Set and Technical departments, often involving providing solutions at short notice.

You’ll need some specific skills:

  • Creative skills in understanding and dissecting a client brief.
  • Concept development.
  • 2D environment design for installations of all kinds from conferences; experiential events; music and film events and exhibitions or experiences.
  • Adobe Creative Suite Work – Photoshop, illustrator and InDesign
  • Manage multiple projects & prioritise appropriately
  • Work closely and collaboratively with other members of the Stagestruck team
  • Strong understanding of client brands and guidelines
  • Firm grasp of print finishes and materials

WHAT WE CAN OFFER

A healthy, proven, good-sized business, with a blue-chip client list, and a team that will welcome you.

A competitive salary and bonus scheme, with comprehensive staff benefits.

If this sounds like you, please send your CV and portfolio of work to recruitment@stagestruck.com
