A BIT OF CONTEXT

Stagestruck: why we’re here

Since 1984, Stagestruck have been delivering world-class events, experiences and communications for global blue-chip brands. Over that time, we’ve adapted, grown and evolved to help clients. What’s remained constant is a desire to be the best. We’re ambitious. We’re proud of what we do. We want to help our clients with clever, inspired and insightful thinking. For our work to be effective at a business and brand level, we believe we need great, creative problem solving and impactful ideas: ideas that change the way people feel, think and ultimately, behave.

However, great ideas are pointless if they’re not delivered brilliantly. So, great ideas with great execution is a powerful offer. It means we’re using broader creativity to deliver – not just imagine - effectiveness for our clients, and that’s something worth paying for. When we do this, we supercharge their business. And then they can’t afford not to have us. Importantly, it’s not just what we do; it’s how we do it. Our service is worldclass, with foresight, insight, intelligence and an attention to detail that is second to none. What we do is often challenging: but with an infectious enthusiasm for what we do, along with the reassuringly professional approach, our clients will enjoy working with us. And keep coming back to us.

It’s not about being the biggest or short-term payback; the quality of our work and long-term partnership is more important. We’re not an agency and we’re not a production company. We’re more joined-up and solution-focused than either of those. We work together to bring clever, innovative thinking and ideas; brilliant delivery; and enthusiastically professional service, together for our clients. And doing this will help us achieve our vision: to be the world’s most effective creative events and experience company.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PAYABLES MANAGER TO JOIN OUR FINANCE TEAM

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starting, organised, administration expert to join our small but busy finance team. You’ll manage our purchase ledger and purchase order database, processing purchase invoices, ensuring all transactions are approved and accurately coded and filed; Reviewing and processing employee expense claims – validating if they’re within policy and correctly coded; and being the point of contact for all purchase ledger or expense related queries.

You’ll raise bi-weekly and, when necessary, urgent same day payment runs to be processed ensuring division of duties are adhered to on bank payment processing.

We are a small, flexible team and so we will need you to be comfortable with working on other ad hoc responsibilities as they occur to support the rest of the team.

You will need the following essential knowledge and professional experience:

  • Experience working in a high-volume administration or accounts payable role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills, performing all tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  • You’ll need to have good numeracy and excel skills. Quickbooks experience is ideal but not essential.
  • Great communication and comfortable taking calls and queries from suppliers and colleagues, you’ll be confident in your abilities and not scared to push back when something is wrong.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER

A healthy, proven, good-sized business, with a blue-chip client list, and a team that will welcome you.

A competitive salary and bonus scheme, with comprehensive staff benefits. We are open to flexible or part time working for this role.

If this sounds like you, please send your CV and portfolio of work to recruitment@stagestruck.com
