Stagestruck is an independent events and experiential communications agency. 34 years ago, the company began as an AV supplier, man-handling vast numbers of fragile 35mm slides across banks of projectors to create stunning visual displays. This required vision, dedication and craft skills - three things that have stuck with Stagestruck.

Since then, technology (thankfully) has developed. And so has Stagestruck. With over 70 people based between our Hertfordshire base and new central London office, Stagestruck has a blue chip client-list that includes Bloomberg, Samsung, VW Group, Barclays, JP Morgan, M&S, BP, PwC and more. For these clients we create inspiring experiences including conferences, product launches, exhibitions, brand experiences, films, digital content, projection mapping and much more.

Stagestruck is growing; growing in size, growing in remit and growing in ambition. We’re doing some great work already; but we want to do even greater work... We have a bold vision for our future and - as we have done over the last 34 years - we’re evolving to fulfil our ambitions.

Being a producer at Stagestruck means working with some of the world’s top companies to create world-class experiences. It’s a senior role, and as such requires a level of experience and ability to thrive under the pressure to deliver great experiences. This means bringing that combination of creativity, foresight and commercial reality to any challenge, working closely with clients and colleagues to deliver a strong vision across all elements of a project.

This role is also looking for someone with retail and fashion experience to join a growing team which specialises in producing events for some large fashion and retail brands. Having visual merchandising, fashion styling or interior styling experience would also be a great bonus for this role.

Fundamentally, at Stagestruck, this means working with a diverse pool of people – from strategists to designers, clients to carpenters, animators to editors, and it means being able to bring these diverse people together and get the very best from them. A senior producer at Stagestruck needs to revel in delivering to our – and our clients’ – very high standards.

  • You’ll be managing projects in a variety of different business sectors from pitch through to on-site delivery. This will require the ability to interrogate the brief and inspire the team; present proposals; manage pre-production; proactively manage client expectations; develop strong teams and networks of support; execute work to the required standard; obtain clear feedback from the clients perspective; and measure successes or failures so that they can be used for competitive advantage.
  • You’ll need to work closely with other members of the Stagestruck team and their diverse areas of expertise; so you’ll be as good a listener as you are persuader. And free of jargon, in a charming way.
  • You’ll be at the forefront of helping our clients; so you’ll be open-minded, someone who revels in inspiration from many different sources.
  • You’ll need excellent communication skills with a wide variety of people.
  • Fashion and retail events experience and/or visual merchandising, styling and interior styling experience and knowledge.
  • Work closely with other members of the team to develop and grow long-term relationships with our clients.
  • You’ll need excellent project management skills, including:
    • Produce any change notices for the client and ensuring their inclusion in the budget and that budgets are regularly updated managing clients expectations to ensure neither party is at risk.
    • Allocate resources and track their performance, making adjustments as required to deliver to objectives.
    • To manage overall project budgets – from quoting to reconciliation - to make the best possible profit for the company, without compromising event delivery or the client relationship.
    • Ensure that all working on the project are motivated, communicating and informed.
    • To manage and contract suppliers according to our procurement processes.

An exciting, happy and growing business with a fantastic diverse mix of clients, and a great team that will welcome you into the Stagestruck family.

A great work atmosphere with company socials, a great working environment and a positive attitude.

A competitive salary and bonus scheme, with many benefits including healthcare, holidays, pension.

Although this role does require a primary presence in the Stagestruck head office in Hertfordshire, with a secondary office in Central London this role offers some allowance for a flexible working environment.

As a key member of the onsite project delivery team the role will also require periods of time onsite, attending meetings at client offices, completing site visits and possible worldwide travel.
